Having worked for two decades in the National Health Service (NHS), she shares her experiences as a black woman and professional within a culturally diverse sector, giving honest & insightful reflections, in her successful blog: The Human Touch blog which can be found at her website: nicholemcintosh.com

How sustainability and freedom relate to her work (in her own words)

I feel strongly that I have a poetic license to freely share my views on issues that I am passionate about. These issues include leaving a legacy worth documenting. Having a real purpose in life that is about more than me and my achievements and focused on inspiring others to dream in colour and flesh out the dream are what drive me and keep me grounded.

The written word is powerful so when I publish a poem or blogpost, I know it cannot be erased permanently even if it is not viewed by many. I believe that divine destiny will come into play and those who need to see it will see it. It will be sustainable. It will help others to be free!
